Advocacy Training

Teyolia's Advocacy Training is set up to gain essential skills and knowledge to stand with and support our communities in times of hardship and uncertainty. This training is designed to empower individuals with the tools needed to become effective advocates, whether facing systemic injustice, racial discrimination, or social and economic challenges. At Teyolia, our advocacy spans several vital areas, including immigrant rights, educational equity, access to healthcare, and support for Indigenous sovereignty. Participants will learn about grassroots organizing, personal and community-based advocacy, and how to provide direct support and resources to those in need. Together, we can strengthen our capacity to uplift and defend our communities, ensuring every voice is heard and respected.
